Chickamauga Fly and Bait Casting Club.
Welcome to Chickamauga Fly & Bait Casting Club. We are a Community of Volunteers who have been in existence since the spring of 1940. Our purpose is to protect and enjoy the natural beauty of Possum Creek…the water, the trees, the land. Our clubhouse with its wrap-around deck filled with rocking chairs provides awesome views of the water, shores, mountains and sky. We enjoy potlucks and holiday gatherings as a group, and our members reserve the clubhouse for private events like birthdays, church gatherings, family reunions. Our members gather several times a year for Work Days during which we mulch, clean, rake, repair to keep our club area in tiptop shape. We also have two docks of boat slips for rental by our members. We have a playground for children and racks for kayaks, paddle boards, and canoes. Chickamauga Fly & Bait Casting Club is a place to step out of the frenzy of modern living and enjoy quiet, tranquility, family fun in the water and on shore, communion with nature, and a sense of community and service as we care for and enjoy the gifts of all the natural beauty around us.
